Acne Scar Problems & Treatment

Going through acne is bad enough, but sometimes acne leaves you with more than just the bad memories. Acne can leave unsightly scars behind. The good news is that Anggun Aesthetic is renowned for treating ace scars, as can be attested by our many past patients.

However, before treatment for acne scars can begin, Any existing acne should be treated first as new acne will cause new scarring. And many acne treatments and medications will interfere with the treating of the scars.

Scars are left behind when the damage from acne goes deep within the skin and damages underlying tissue.

Anggun Aesthetic offers a number of solutions to treat acne scars as below:

DERMAPEN 4 MICRONEEDLING

RADIOFREQUENCY MICRONEEDLING

REJURAN S

DERMAL FILLER

FRACTIONAL LASER

TCA CROSS

CHEMICAL PEEL

SUBCISION

STEM CELL THERAPY

Depending on severity, acne and scar treatments are provided every 2 to 4 weeks to reduce likelihood of recurrence and serious scarring. More advanced treatments like Micro needling requires 4-6 weeks between treatments.

In terms of effectiveness and longevity of results, a light chemical peel can produce results that last 1-2 months. Micro needling results can last 4-6 weeks. Whatever the treatment selected, better results are obtained over repeated treatments.

You can expect more advanced acne treatments to entail mild discomfort in the form of heat in the case of Laser treatments, to mild pain and temporary reddening and soreness for micro needling.

There are no serious risks to the acne treatments we provide. Treatments like Micro needling may rarely entail bleeding, bruising, and allergic reactions in some patients. Chemical peels may on rare occasions entail discoloration of treated skin, scarring and infection.

Downtime for treatments vary. Carbon Peel Laser treatments entail no downtime. Chemical peels may require 7-14 days to fully heal, whereas Microneedling usually requires 1-2 days to recover.

Anggun Aesthetic is ready to discuss which of these treatments is the best suited for you. Both a consultation as well as a booking deposit are required for all of these treatments.
